Last week, we had the opportunity to attend the EthCC Week in Paris, a series of events and activities that took place around the main Ethereum Community Conference (EthCC). It was an amazing experience that we want to share with you in this blog post.
What is EthCC Week?
EthCC Week is a week-long celebration of Ethereum and its community that happens every year in Paris. It consists of various side events organized by different projects, organizations, and individuals in the Ethereum ecosystem. These events include workshops, hackathons, panels, presentations, demos, meetups, parties, and more.
EthCC Week is a great way to learn about the latest developments and innovations in the Ethereum space, as well as to network and socialize with fellow Ethereum enthusiasts from all over the world. EthCC Week is open to anyone interested in Ethereum, whether they are developers, entrepreneurs, investors, researchers, artists, or simply curious.
EthCC Week complements the main EthCC event, which is the largest annual European Ethereum conference. EthCC features over 250 speakers who cover topics such as scalability, governance, DeFi, NFTs, DAOs, and more. EthCC also offers workshops, exhibitions, and networking opportunities for attendees.
What did we do at EthCC Week?
We had a blast attending the EthCC side events in Paris and meeting so many amazing people and projects in the space. Here are some of our highlights from the EthCC Week:
- We started off by joining a few events on the first day before hosting our own event on Tuesday. We learned about the latest innovations and challenges in building private and scalable decentralized applications.
- Our own event was called Crypto, Coffee & Croissants: A Parisian Soirée with Fyde Treasury & STIX. It was a cozy and casual gathering where we invited friends and partners from the crypto space to join us for coffee and croissants. We had a great time chatting with them about our project, their projects, and the future of DeFi.
- We co-hosted this event with STIX, a digital assets secondaries platform for private crypto assets. We were impressed by their vision and technology and look forward to collaborating with them more in the future.
- OP Ventures was also one of our sponsors for this event. OP Ventures is a venture capital firm that invests in early-stage blockchain startups. They have been very supportive of our project, and we appreciate their guidance and expertise.
- We want to thank everyone who attended our event and made it a success. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did and hope to see you again soon.
- We participated in many events with our devs and founders, showcasing our project to investors and receiving valuable feedback. We were impressed by the quality and diversity of blockchain startups in Paris.
- Our devs attended a hackathon where they collaborated with other talented developers and built innovative solutions using Ethereum technology. They had a lot of fun and learned a lot from the experience.
- We also enjoyed networking and socializing with fellow Ethereum enthusiasts at various parties and meetups throughout the week. We made new friends, exchanged ideas, and celebrated the achievements of the community.
Conclusion
We want to thank everyone who organized, hosted, sponsored, spoke at, or attended the EthCC side events. You made this week unforgettable, and we can’t wait to see you again next year. Until then, keep building and stay awesome!
